Magnificant High School
Sanya Juu, Siha, Kilimanjaro
The school with a total of 640 students and 50 staff was spending over TZS 1.5 million (USD 600) to purchase firewood per month. A 60kWp Solar Electric Cooking System with 30kWh Lithium Phosphate storage was installed in 2022 to power 4 Energy Saving Electric Cookers, each of 170Litres, 1 induction stove of 100Litres and 3 rice cookers, each of 23L. 3 more Energy Saving Cookers of 170L and 30kWh storage will be added to the system to make the school completely switch to electric cooking.
Holy Spirit Sisters Formation House
Sanya Juu, Siha, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
The convent accommodates 70 people and their firewood expenditure was TZS 290,000 (USD 116) per month. A 10kWp SECS and 10kWh Lithium Phosphate storage has made them completely switch to electric cooking.
Tuleeni Chidren Home
Uru Kijijini, Moshi, Kilimanjaro, Tanzania.
The orphanage was spending TZS 250,000 (USD 100) per month for firewood. It accommodates 83 people. a 6.3kWp SECS with 10kWh of Lithium Phosphate storage give them 100% electric cooking service.
